Mrs. Morgan's Homework Policy

 
Students in my classroom should set aside 20-30 minutes a night for "homework".  While students will seldom have assignments to do at home, they should work on the following things-
bulletSpelling words-list will come home Monday and test will need to be taken by Friday.
bulletMath facts-students should practice basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts at home with flachcards or the various games they have been taught.
bulletRead-students will have one guided reading book a week that they can read and one novel a month that they are responsible for.

 

Note: If your son or daughter has too much homework, call me because something is not right.  Students get enough time in class to complete assignments.
